Enterprise Automation

FlowOps

2M+ triggers/day

A no-code workflow automation platform that eliminated 40+ hours of manual operations work per week by processing 2M+ daily events.

FlowOps
2M+ triggers/day

Challenge

A growing operations team was manually transferring data between five disconnected SaaS tools — a CRM, a project tracker, two communication platforms, and an ERP. Each handoff introduced delay and errors. With volume scaling rapidly, the team was spending more than 40 hours per week on data entry and status synchronisation that added no strategic value.

Approach

We scoped the problem as a platform rather than a collection of point integrations. Instead of building n-to-n API connections, we designed a centralised event bus with a visual workflow builder that let business users define automation logic without code. The architecture prioritised reliability — every trigger was logged, retryable, and auditable from day one.

Solution

The platform was built on a Node.js microservices architecture deployed on Kubernetes, with a PostgreSQL state store and Redis-backed queue for high-throughput event processing. The React frontend featured a drag-and-drop workflow builder for defining triggers, conditions, and actions. API connectors were built for all five existing tools, and a webhook system allowed future integrations without platform changes. An ops dashboard provided real-time visibility into event volumes and pipeline health.

Results

  • 2M+ workflow triggers processed daily at steady state
  • 40+ FTE hours reclaimed per week across the operations team
  • 3 legacy point-tools decommissioned within 90 days of go-live
  • Full ROI achieved in under 2 months post-launch
