SaaS Platform
Basis
A full SaaS foundation — secure auth, subscription billing, multi-tenant data isolation, and dashboards — built to let a subscription business move fast from day one.

Challenge
A founder had validated the idea but needed the complete SaaS foundation — secure auth, subscription billing, multi-tenant data isolation, role-based access, admin dashboards — without spending a year on infrastructure before shipping a single feature of actual value.
Approach
We built the unglamorous-but-critical foundation first: tenant isolation at the database level, role-based access control, and billing that could handle both flat subscriptions and metered usage. Every architectural decision was made with the assumption that the product would need to move fast once the foundation was in place.
Solution
A Next.js application with PostgreSQL row-level-security multi-tenancy, Stripe subscriptions and metered billing, role-based admin and customer dashboards, and a Redis-backed job queue for background processing. The billing layer handled plan upgrades, downgrades, and usage-based charges without custom code for each scenario.
Results
- Launch-ready platform delivered in ~10 weeks with billing and multi-tenancy from day one
- PostgreSQL RLS enforced tenant isolation at the database level, not the application layer
- Stripe billing handled flat subscriptions and metered usage out of the box
- Illustrative of how this foundation accelerates a subscription business post-launch
